    In this auction we offer:
    The ET-10 military tactical terminal is a tactical terminal for secure voice communication, developed and built by Terma A / S in Denmark in the late 1990s. In fact, it is a digital cryptographic telephone, suitable for connecting to Eurocom-based networks with a data rate of 16 or 32 Kbps. It was introduced in the German armed forces in the mid-2000s and retired again in 2012. Also known as NSN 5805-22-269-2579. The image on the right shows the basic ET-10 unit. It is housed in a die-cast aluminum housing and resembles a normal headset. On the left side is a cradle with a handset which is made of strong green plastic, connected to the back. On the right side there is a keyboard with 20 buttons. The bottom row of keys has built-in LEDs. There is a 2-line 16-character LCD display above the keyboard. On the back there are connectors for the handset, (digital) telephone line, and power supply (or battery). In addition, there is a 25-pin D-type connector labeled Data / Crypto. The ET-10 terminal with the ET-10 handset is intended for connection to digital telephone networks based on the military standard NATO EUROCOM with a data transmission speed of 16 Kb / s or 32 Kb / s. It is suitable for voice communication, data transmission, faxes and teletypes with different transmission speeds. See the table below for a complete list of available modes. The device is powered from any source with a polarity between 15 and 28 V. After the first switch on, it tries to automatically detect the network speed (16 or 32 Kbps).
