    Description

RT-841/PRC-77 Transceiver With RCA MFG tag on front panel.
RCA was the original developer of the PRC-77. This radio’s ID tag contract number
    FR-36-039-H-6-32018(E)
was awarded in 1966. This would be one of the first PRC-77 contracts given out. Interior modules are Electrospace and Bristol. This could be the result of a sub contract or an
    overhaul.
This radio was tested per the specifications set fourth in the 11-5820-667-35 Tech Manual for thePRC-77. The tests performed were for power output and frequency accuracy across the two frequency bands of the radio. Also voice intelligibility during transmission and reception. A D cell adapter, BH-386 B/PRC, which is made for the PRC-25 and PRC-77 and fits in the battery box, has been tested and is included with the radio.
This sale includes only the radio, battery box and the D cell adapter.
Yes, I know that I reversed the initials and date boxes on the data sheet accidentally.
Although the radio works perfectly on my work bench, but, since it is over 50 years old, this radio is being sold as is.
