In this auction we offer:
a set consisting of a PRC-351 radio with a 20W amplifier and a TURF preselector module. The offered set can be used as a whole or separately, i.e. You can use the RT-351 receiver transmitter module itself, an amplifier module or a preselector module, thanks to the fact that each module is a separate complete device and can also work with other radios with an impedance of 50Ω in the range from 30MHz to 76MHz. The transceiver module itself has an output power of 4W. when connected to an amplifier, the output power increases to over 20W. Usually it is about 25-27W on average. The radio covers the frequency range from 30MHz to 76MHz with 25kHz step. The device has two low frequency connectors. Thanks to this, one connector can be used to connect a microphone-speaker and the other to connect other devices (computer, speaker, etc.) The radio also has line terminals for connecting a telephone line to a field device. NOTE: The radio with the amplifier created a backpack radio with the highest power available for portable devices at the time of its construction. It is one of the few radio stations of that era which power did not differ from mobile radio stations. The use of a preselector greatly improves the selectivity and noise immunity of the entire station. The preselector also has an output for antennas with impedance other than 50Ω, then it serves as an antenna tuner.
