Military ? Unusual Pocket Survival Radio Made in USA Incomplete

I have no idea what this is.  I have spent some time looking for a survival radio like this one and haven't found one yet.  Bet you collectors and military guys will know.  Missing antenna and speaker/mike.  Made in the USA so I think it is US military.
