    Description

    Beautiful early 1940’s vintage BOUCHER sterling silver vermeil rhinestone brooch. Gorgeous large heavy sterling silver vermeil in a scrolling bow design set emerald cut aquamarine rhinestones down the center and pave set clear rhinestones on the bow and curled ends. Absolutely beautiful and getting harder to find all the time. This is a book piece featured on Judith Miller’s COSTUME JEWELRY. See pics. This is marked sterling twice and has old Phrygian cap mark twice also. In excellent vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Most wear to the vermeil is on the high points and back...not abnormal. But I also do not think the back was ever plated. Could use a polish but as always leave that up to buyer. All stones intact and perfect.roll over clasp secure. Large... measures 1 5/8 inches tall by 3 1/8 inches wide. Weighs 29.3gms. Nice old heavy piece. Beautiful!
